
Ed Sykes
Born 1965, UK. Lives and works in London. Ed Sykes studied at Nottingham Trent University and London College of Printing.
He started his career working for The Independent as a freelance photographer and also had worked published The Guardian, i-D magazine, GQ Style, The Sunday Times Style, The Sunday Telegraph Review and Vogue.
His current work investigates the environment and uses documentary photography as the starting point. More recently his work has expanded to challenge this traditional approach using conceptual techniques to question the representation of landscape.
His photographs have been included in exhibitions at Association of Photographers, Four Corners Gallery, Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, National Portrait Gallery, Photofusion and The Printspace.
