When Debbie Harry recorded her first solo album KooKoo in 1981 I was asked to supply a head shot to the Swiss artist HR Giger so that he could work on a sleeve for the album. The result was extraordinary and remains one of my favourite covers. It was banned from the London Underground as a poster but that didn’t stop it becoming a collectors item.
