Everyone who was anyone in rock and roll or movies used to congregate there, and most of the guys used to end up playing which meant that at any one time you’d have half the Rolling Stones, The Faces or The Who, and producers such as Ian Le Frenais, or actors Ian MacShane or David Hemmings. If you look closely you can see Rod Stewart in the far right corner of the field.
