Robert Smith from The Cure photographed by Jill Furmanovsky in July 1985 at her London studio. 1985 saw The Cure release their hit album Head on the Door that included the songs In Between Days and Close to Me.
Jill recalls, “His hair’s got long, he’s given up smoking and chooses his own shade of red lipstick”.
